Satan doesn’t tempt us in the blunt and obvious way. He knows most of us aren’t going to go out and murder someone. He knows we have the ability to differentiate black from white. But it’s the gray areas that get us.
He often presents us with situations that make us wonder where to draw the line. And we fall into his traps when we argue and make excuses for our disobedient behaviors.
We should turn to God especially during times like these. And that is probably the most Christian answer you can find out there. But I guess sometimes you just need that genuine rebuke to fully realize your sins.
(I really need to read The Screwtape Letters…sorry John for keeping it for so long aha)

But I have to take you through this, but I am going to bring you out it. If not, I will not get the glory. You see, beloved, when it’s all said and done, you will be singing a new song to Me. The world will see that it was Me who saved you.
Don’t give up. I’m the potter, you’re the clay and I’m molding you into a beautiful vase to display for My glory.
I’m not promising it will be quick. I’m not promising it will feel good. But it will be worth it. Will you let Me?
